The ninth ISIR Summer School was organized at the Department of Business Logistics at the Karol Adamiecki Universiy of Economics in Poland. The Summer School was from Tuesday (August 25th, 2009) till Saturday (August 29th, 2009).

The general theme was: “Changing Paradigm for Inventory Management in a Supply Chain Context”. The aim was to encourage contributions focussing on emerging trends in Inventory Studies, which may arise from both new topics and traditional problem developments (e.g. mathematical modelling, case studies, investigative techniques, managerial issues).
