During their first week in Katowice our international students took part in the Integration Week. They had a lot of activities prepared for them to help them get to know our University, city and region.
During the week they went skiing, visited the coal mine Luiza in Zabrze, Breweries in Tychy, participated in a City Rally, tasted typical Silesian dinner. The climax of the Week was the Global Village where representatives of each country presented their typical food, drinks, songs etc. This semester we are hosting altogether 80 students from Europe and Asia.
